
TI+D has been chosen to present its transition to an “Agile" company in the Scrum Gathering of Munich. In this congress, the speech “Agile at Telefónica I+D -catalyst for innovative culture” was presente, where TI+D explained the reasons to adopt these new methodologies in its innovation activities and the results obtained.
Telefónica I+D has been invited to participate in the Germany Scrum Gathering, which recently took place in Munich, where it has presented the speech “Agile at Telefonica I+D -catalyst for innovative culture”.
The transition and results promoted by the initiative Agile Telefónica I+D were perceived by the experts attending the congress as a case of success. The company is starting to become an international benchmark in the innovation-making process.
Telefónica I+D explained how the adoption of the “Agile" philosophy has been a turning point, as it encourages and promotes innovation culture between all its employees. Currently, significant changes are being done in this company aimed to take down cultural and organisational barriers which slow down the innovation pace and promoting at the same time a more motivating and creative working environment.
The “Agile Telefónica I+D” initiative hopes to introduce and spread an agile, dynamic, participative, transparent and innovative, as well as much closer to the customer, working culture. It adopts the best practices for project management, programming and multidisciplinary units’ management, in order to face the changing, complex and with a high degree of uncertainty environment, in which most Telefónica I+D projects take place.
