Rob van den Berg has worked on car navigation system for 7 years within Siemens VDO and TomTom. His main activities have been focused on architecture and interfacing both inside the car as well as outside (traffic information). When working for SiemensVDO he has been a member of the OSGi Vehicle Expert Group.

Prior to working in the car industry he has been working in fields as diverse as medical imaging, astronomy and satellite tracking. Currrently he is a member of the Bluetooth Car Working Group and the TISA TPEG Working Group.
